CASM can work with whatever records you have, even if they are incomplete. Our register-build service brings your records together, fills in any missing information through physical checks, and gives you a clean starting point. You don’t need to organize things first.

For a single-campus school, the process usually takes a few weeks. For multiple-campus schools, it can take a few months. Our team handles the physical tagging and verification, often working during school holidays. Your bursar mainly helps with data access and approvals, not the hands-on work.

Each campus has its own location and custodian setup, but everything is combined into one register. You can see all your schools together or look at each site separately. For school groups, you can also get a group-wide view across all your schools.

CASM keeps your data safe by encrypting it both when it is sent and when it is stored. All data stays in South Africa on secure servers that meet ISO 27001 standards, so you are fully POPIA compliant.

It exports this as a journal you can import directly into your accounting system, so your general ledger and asset register stay in sync without extra work. CASM works with popular accounting platforms like Sage and Xero. If you use another system, let us know and we can discuss integration options.
